T&T: Bilge Keels

Just for what it is worth, all the 50 foot Marine Traders (like ours)
came standard with bilge keels. This, along with the deep centerline
keel, helps to some degree to slow the roll of the essentially otherwise
round bottom. So, they are not so rare as many might think.

In addition, some comments were made regarding the difficulty they might
present for haul-outs on a travelift, but I can assure all that this is
not the case. They are easily between the areas where anyone would
sensibly/intuitively place the lifting straps.

These MT-50 bilge keels, however, are not intended nor would they act as
support for drying out the boat.
