Dave,

What route are you taking to HI?  If your going N and you plan to stop in
Nicaragua (specifically Puesta del Sol) I can send you a screen capture of
where we broached, and then where we entered the channel.  Also, if you
cross the Gulf of Tehuantepec you will want the email address for Enrique
the harbor master in Huatulco.  He can provide very good advice on wx
windows for crossing the Gulf, if you choose not to follow the beach.  We
have been told that entering Mexico in Puerto Madero is problematic at best.
Oh and make sure you pull a sailfish lure off the coast of Guatemala, it is
the most amazing billfishing in the world!
