Jason, we lined the lockers of our 40 foot sailboat below the waterline with
copper screen and soldered the ground strap from the tuner to the screen. We
simply laid the screen in against the hull and spot epoxied it to keep it in
place. The improvement was incredible with our Icom 710 in both SSB and Ham
frequencies. We highly recommend this approach and will use it in the new boat
once the radio is installed. Chuck

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has gone to the trouble of
installing screen for a ground system for HF, and how it works.
