T&T: Trip to Raleigh

I live in Havelock, NC next to Beaufort. It takes about 2 hours to get  
to 95 from here.
We go to Charleston SC allot and drive Rte 17.
You could visit Charleston then drive north on 17 over the cooper  
river ( new bridge) it takes you through lots of coastal towns. The  
traffic areas depending on time will be Myrtle beach and there is a  
bypass around Wilmington, NC if you want. When you get to  
Jacksonsville, NC pick up Rte 24 to Morehead City then to 70 east to  
Beaufort. From there continue on 70 east to rte 101 to Ferry road (rte  
306) to the ferry at cherry branch (free) to minnesott. From there  
follow the signs to Oriental. It's a couple of rights and there are  
small state signs. After Oriental you could take (54? Not sure rte #)  
to New Bern. From there you could take 70 west to Raleigh (about 2 hrs)
