WOW! This was my first post and I really appreciate all the help. I had no
idea that Weens & Plath fixed there own clocks with little or no expense as I
really didn't want to buy a new one.
Since you people were so helpful with that subject I'm in need of guidance to
heat my 1971 Grand banks 36' Classic. It has no heat now and with living in
the NW (Portland) it makes enjoying it in the winter months less then
enjoyable. Now I have talked with a number of different places and it looks to
cost between $7 and $10 for a forced air diesel heating system!!
I have purposely tried to keep the systems simple on my boat so I could
maximize my using the boat and to minimize costs. I would like a simple
heating system as my budget will only withstand $3500-4K in costs but there
doesn't seem to be much out there. I have thought about a free standing unit,
but if you know a GB, there isn't a lot of places to install one and its hard
to get the heat in the lower areas.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Subject: T&T: Weens and Plath clock
I have an older Weens and Plath clock that stopped working (Yes, I changed
the
battery) and I'm curious if there is anyone out there has had them worked
on.
My local "clock repair place" had not seen one before and didn't know how
to
fix it. Thanks for your help.
Thanks!
