Absolutely NOT TRUE!



Both the restricted latitude and the season varies from company to

company:

Some use Cape Hatteras

Some use Morehead City

Some use Savannah

Some use Cumberland Island

Some use St Mary's River



Some use 6/1 to 12/1

Some use 6/15 to 12/1

Some use 6/1 to 11/15

Some use 6/1 to 11/1

Some use 6/15 to 11/15

One uses 7/1 to 11/1Al



Al, perhaps you did not read my follow up post "That actually depends on what
you pay for your policy and what you request. Markel will write one policy
with limitations at Savannah
and another policy will read Hatteras. Or you can pay the high premium
and not have limitations." and perhaps I should have said many, not
most. But we have yet to meet a cruising boat on the waterway this year
that did not have Hatteras for the northern limitations and most told
us first hand that this had been changed from their previous policy and
a substantial increase was ask if they planned on being south of that
point.  Is my statement above incorrect regarding same companies
requiring different limitations? Chuck
