Tommy,
Sorry to hear of problems at home. As I mentioned in a off line email to
you, Zimmermans Deltaville location can likely take you and store the boat.
They just installed an 80 ton lift and can take boats to 7.5' of draft. You
many have to wait for a high tide to get in, but it's well marked and a
great location. Very rural, not close to anything, but safe storage for the
boat. Nice people and very capable if you need work done. However, not
cheap. If you want cheap on the other side of the peninsula is a small bay
with a marina at the head end. We tucked in there last Fall when we were
moving down the bay to sit out a few days of wind. Very nice people, small
marina, and there was an 80' British Naval vessel being retrofitted for
personal use, the owner and his wife are amazing and can help you with
anything. I don't have a cruising guide handy, but if you choose not to use
Zimmermans let me know and I'll find the name of that other marina. Good
luck! Scott
