T&T: Verizon air card

The card he is referring to is the USB720.  It comes with a pigtail about 3' 
long and has two USB connectors.  One is for the the normal connection and 
the other picks up the +5v feed to increase power to the unit.  I have this 
and it has worked well but I can't honestly say that I can determine that 
the speed increases with both USB plugs installed.  The unit can also be 
used without the pigtail.
