I'm not sure I can help you with private dockage, but I can give
recommendation to both Waterside Marina in Norfolk and Tidewater Marina
across the river in Portsmouth.  I have used both in the past and have no
complaints with either.  Both are full service with friendly, efficient
staff.  In terms of location and general 'excitement', I prefer Waterside
over on the Norfolk side of the river.  

It has been about 5 years since I passed through that area so you may want
to give them a call to check on current rates.
