T&T: AGM Batteries

I fear the sense of humor on the list is dying... I can't believe no one
took a swing at " any experience with these batteries either positive or
negative"...perhaps my list update isn't "current";-)  Must be time to go
sailing...

After six years, it is well past time to replace the AGM batteries on  
Flat Earth
before we bring her back across the ocean to North America. "Battery  
Bill" is
the acknowledged expert on batteries here in Hawaii and has suggested an
alternative to Life Line which would save me $85 per battery. Full River
Batteries are manufactured in China, but so are our boats. The battery  
is
heavier than the Life Line and has a little more power. The only  
downside that
I can find is that the posts are not quite as substantial, but I don't  
think
that will be an issue.

Does anyone have any experience with these batteries either positive of
negative?
