T&T: Wifi boosters and Verizon Air cards in the Abacos

In one of the more recent Passage Maker Magazine issues there was a very
favorable article about the www.5milewifi.com We bought one and have just
had it installed on our DeFever 49 CPMY. We'll let you know how that works
out once we move back on board.

We do have a www.DigitalAntenna.com for the air cards to boost that signal.
The guys just changed out the antenna extension and said when they turned it
on their cell phones went immediately from 2 to 5 bars.

We need to stay in touch in the Abacos due to business reasons.  We have
both
WiFi and Verison Air card.  We will be anchored out a fair amount on our
boat.
Does anyone have experience with a WiFi booster and if so what kind of
distance can it reach.  As I understand it Verison Air card will be
extremely
expensive as it goes through the local cell phone system.
Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated as we don't do
computer speak.
