ron, Just reread my post and I stated the plates might cause a problem and what I meant was the electrode pack. If the unit is wired properly and and you have checked all connections and they are good, this would be my next place to check. You can contact Raritan and speak to Vic Williams. He is extremely knowledgeable about these units. The most common mix seems to be about a cup of salt to a gallon of water per flush. Sorry for the confusion. Chuck
