ron, I am sure Peggy will respond, but I have installed and serviced several
units including problems with tripping breakers. The breaker issue is usually
a matter of too small wiring or bad connectors. We have also had a breaker
problem when the plates needed to be replaced. I can not recall any problem
with a breaker due to too much salt and I have read the manual and talked to
the techs and they have always said too little will cause problems with the
unit but it is almost impossible to add to much. Chuck

Peggie Hall,
Re: a Lectra-San in fresh water and no saline tank.
Raritan suggests adding a few ounces of salt to the bowl.
But can too much salt be damaging to the electrode pack or blow the 60A
fuse?
Thanks
