T&T: passport

At last, I have the opportunity to pull attention away from the extended
winter blahs without resorting to Racor microns or the dread " to bond or not
to bond" issue.

Passport. A friend has the use of a house in Palmares, Costa Rica, for 3 weeks
and has invited me down. Only expense will be airfair. How could I refuse?
Even have a dog-sitter here.

But my passport's expired. I'm one hour from the Canal street office and I can
get an appointment for a hurry up passport but I have to show travel plans and
I don't have the tickets yet because I don't really know if I'm going. Another
friend volunteered that I do have a boat and I'm "planning" a trip to the
Bahamas too. Any ideas on what kind of a "cruise plan" to the Bahamas or Grand
Cayman or Panama would represent adequate documentation for the voyage if,
indeed, any is necessary?
