I am shocked and saddened by the terrible news about John.  I met John  
and his wife in Charleston a couple of years ago while cruising.  We  
conversed often and shared many thoughts about boating throughout the  
last few years.  He was always such a great resource of knowledge.  He  
was a frequent contributor to the T&T list - I noticed that he made a  
posting early this morning...

I'm so sorry for his wife and wish her strength during this difficult  
time.

It's so sad...
