I finally joined yesterday.  I had been considering it for a few years now
and, now that we have put Heart of Gold on the market, I decided I would
give it a try.  As soon as the economy turns around and the boat sells and I
get to retire and we sell our house and we buy a condo and the kids get on
their own yadda, yadda, yadda then We will get a new boat and work our way
towards Commodore status and beyond.  I do not have .02 worth of opinion on
the value of SSCA at this time but I guarantee I have lost more than the
cost of membership in the first five minutes that the stock market opened
today.
