T&T: A nagging question

most insurance companies require hurricane plans to be filed with the 
application...  do they really make sure these plans are followed?  they 
should... and also require some proof (pictures) that boats were at least 
reasonably prepared before the storm.

It's infuriating to see premiums going up, dockage going up too because of 
higher marina insurance and repair costs, because some people choose to sell 
their boat to their insurer.
