T&T: Tranny Oil Cooler

If you look at the mounting instructions for coolers, they should be mounted
where the side liquid ports are facing up. This way, the liquid completely
fills the cooler for maximum heat transfer. If you do it that way, they
won't drain when the engine is stopped, no matter where they are. If you
mount them with the side ports facing down, you may not be filling them
while running, diminishing their cooling capacity. The fluid being cooled
may simply run from one port to the other, leaving a lot of empty space in
the cooler.

As far as zincs, I don't have them on my oil or tranny coolers, but I did
run a bonding wire from each to the bonding system. Sanded to clean metal,
then clamped on with a hose clamp.
