Buzzards Bay forecast
Sat Night
Se winds 15 to 30 kt...increasing to 35 to 45 kt in the late
evening...then becoming NW 40 to 50 kt after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
Showers and tstms likely. Vsby 1 to 3 nm.
We are on a 1000# mooring in the tight corner of Woods Hole for the
duration of the storm
Bad news is that our dinghy engine has a breakdown that may take a few
days to get the part.
So we have to find a way to get ashore for the next few days. Woods
Hole Marine has been great helping us get the mooring and servicing
the dink. With big winds they do not want us anywhere near their dock
for fear of damage from our heavy boat.
I think the mooring is the best place
Now if we can just get ashore somehow.
