T&T: Using a zinc guppy

Henry,
I have hung a zinc fish over the stern at the slip for about three years. It
has eroded slowly, but noticeably. I attach the alligator clip to the rudder
post that is tied to the bonding system. I honestly can't say for absolute
sure that it is reducing the wear on the boat zincs, but that's my bet.
On another topic, back to discussion of the Nano-pulser a few months ago, I
bit the bullet and bought and installed one on our small house bank of four
4yo T-105s. Either the gods are on my side this time or it actually has done
what is advertised. We had been getting the low voltage warning on the
Lectrasan at around 58 amp hrs on the meter, prior. We hit ninety (about 18
hours on the hook) over this past weekend with no sign of a problem. We manage
our loads carefully -- LED in most heavily used cabin lights, LED anchor
light, oil lamp in the cockpit.
