T&T: large batteries

I have flag terminals on the batteries in my Bertram. I like them, and, as
someone told you, battery shops can easily solder them onto the post. There
are also clamp on extensions that can be used. I suppose there are as many
views of batteries as there are boaters, but I usually use DEKA. I assume I
would get longer life with more expensive batteries, but with DEKAs costing
one half to one third as much and battery failure often caused by some out
side event that would trash any battery, I think the DEKAs are a cost
effective solution.
