T&T: Internet access

Tom,

I have the PowerMaxTM DA4000MR Mobile Repeater, the model with the interior
antenna that has to have the 20'+ seperation from the external antenna.

I too had just about given up on the system but decided to give it one more
try. I rerouted the interior cable and placed the antenna down in the office
on the boat, about 3 feet from the computer. I use a tethered Motorola Q as
my internet access (Verizion). I put the phone close (about a ft) to the
antenna when I dial up. I guess that I usually get about 2 more bars than
without it. I am sure that we get connections that we wouldn't otherwise.

Upstate Michigan and the North Channel of Lake Huron are not just all broken
out with Verizion cell towers..<G>
