T&T: Watercounter (was On-board washers - which ones actually work ?)

I made up a similar setup with a commercial water meter and a digital 
display and I have been using this for over 10 years. I cannot gain access 
to the tops of my water tanks to install senders and this meter does the 
job. My setup was $200 years ago so $295 sound about right.

I have seen the Watercounter at the Miami Boat Show. The Watercounter is a 
more elegant solution than I have and if I had to do it all over again I 
would go this route. For instance with my setup the counter shows the 
gallons used and then you reset it to zero when you refill the tank. With 
the Watercounter you can pre program your capacity and the meter shows how 
many gallons left.
