T&T: chrome vs. powder coating

In the midst of refinishing my mast on my 43 hatt d.c. and the chrome is shot
although the metal is in very nice shape. Eastwood has a powder coating system
thats seems to turn out decent looking chrome type shine. What does  anyone
think about the chrome vs. powder coatin it? Or  paying someone to chrome it
if I can find someone that would do a good job as I can powder coat it myself.
