I did this this past spring. I started out with just a seal. Still leaked. Got the kit and it leaked even more. I ended up getting a whole new pump assy for a lot of $$$$. Apparently the distance inside the pump on the shaft between the seals are very critically. Especially the orientation of the lip seal. Hope you have better luck than I! Hans
