T&T: Results of shaft couplers inspection

Yes, John, I have given that some thought.  When I mentioned the idea to the
yard foreman, he said the clamping action really puts a squeeze on the pin
when it is placed correctly.  Even if the pins were to fall out, they are
extra insurance anyway.  I'll probably hit them with a punch to see how well
implanted they are.
  Being a belt and braces type, I suggest putting a hose clamp around the
couplings in order to absolutely prevent the pins from coming out. I have
seen this happen. It's cheap insurance.
