T&T: Battery Charger

I currently have a Xantrex 5012 charger on my Albin 40.  I had it installed
two years ago to maintain two banks of 2-4d's each.  Initially it worked just
fine but this past several months it has become erratic.  Overcharging one
bank and ignoring the other.  I would like to replace it with a new smart type
charger.  Have been evaluating the new ProMariner and the Victron.  Would the
listees share some of their own experience or recommendations on a reliable
charger.
