T&T: Fw: Fw: Anchoring/Anti Roll Device

      If you didn't hang it properly, what did you do? I was wondering what
would happen if I just hung it over the side without the longer moment arm
that is supposed to be used.

        Sorry I wasn't clear in my explanation. Just hanging it over the side
would not have a great deal of effect; you can really see the rod and the
ropes flex when it's working. I was in a hurry and bought the lever arm. In
retrospect, I would have designed and built something out of aluminum pipe.
Cheaper. I plan to use heavier nylon rope than they provided. SS I-bolts.
        Oh, and plan to either put bottom paint on it or clean it each day
after use; it's a barnacle snagger.
