The first thing you should do is call Pierson and find out what exactly they used on the boat. They may have some advice as well. 

You don't say where you are but I can recommend some good people in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Baltimore and SW Mass. 

It would be a good idea to hire someone skilled and watch them before trying it yourself. I have both Awlgrip and Imron on my boat and a skilled person can do beautiful work. On the other hand, less skilled work is readily visible
