T&T: back, back to my engine stalling problem

The most frustrating of all outcomes regarding my engine stalling  right 
after starting after waiting a few days: I doesn't do that anymore! 
 
After I checked all the lines for tightness and changed filters it still  
happened a couple of times. Since then I did nothing but run about 50  hours and 
it stopped happening. Maybe there was a little piece of crud  holding a valve 
open somewhere? As soon as I get to Jacksonville I will  consult with a JD 
dealer/mechanic to see if they have experienced this before. 
 
Thanks to all who offered suggestions. I have a list to take to a JD  dealer. 
Now that I said it stopped, undoubtedly tomorrow it will happen  again.
