Interesting concept.  I wonder how well it works in rainy/snowy weather (that is when you need it most) since it is so low powered, and in the theoretical future when there are many similar units around.  BTW - this is sort of how a SART works.  The SART transmitter pans the radar X band allocated bandwidth, however your receiver stays constant (hence the apparent pulses).  In this new device the receiver  must track the transmitter I would guess.  Usually the delta freq indicates speed.  Larry your take?
