My wife and I have always enjoyed staying at the Fort Pierce City Marina when
ever we traveled up or down the east coast. It's right in the down town area
and the city seems to always have something going on on the week ends. Don't
know what the rates are now but they were the best in the area. Nice showers
and laundry rooms and great restaurants right at the docks shopping near by.

Hi all,

The MARY KATHRYN is steaming south this morning in 50 degree
weather...passing Cocoa Florida. A relentless march of cold fronts is giving
us gorgeous cloudless days and fresh northerly winds...and making us
pilothouse thankful. These conditions will also keep us from crossing the
Florida Straits to the Bahamas. We will be Waiting On Weather.

Temporary dockage can be an expensive prospect and I would certainly
appreciate any suggestions from the list. We have no preference for
location...anywhere from Ft. Pierce south would be perfectly fine. At a
marina...behind a house...anywhere. Just guessing, but I expect we only need
about two weeks...?

The boat would not be unattended. I must fly home, but Gail will remain
onboard.
