I too have problems with a few DVDs.

Note that they are all bought new from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.fr and some
lock-up about 70%-80% of the way through for no apparent reason. There is no
visible damage to the disks.

The 3 players are lightly used, fairly new and are of different makes.

I just live with it but don't tell me how Full Metal Jacket ends.
