T&T: Lectra/san

Lori, I just went through all this. I did the muriatic acid clean and extra
salt etc, but after having used about 120 # of salt in 10 days I realized the
darn electrode pack most likely was gone. Not sure why that thingy goes, but
it does. It's a nightmare to change unless you have super good access. One way
to test the electrode pack, as described in their manual, is to measure the
voltage at the test posts. A good pack will give you 18-21 millivolt and a bad
pack 16 and down. mine went from 11 - 17 volt and was telling the salt feed
tank to pump for 30 seconds and still it gave me an amber light which went to
red and then the unit just stopped. This is my third electrode pack and for
$350 a little discerning. I understand the new lectra/scan unit is addressing
some of these issues.
Hope this will help.
Hans
