Have a very unreliable Benmar 210 autopilot. Have spent months of repairs and $'s trying to get it right. Boat is a 36' trawler with mechanical steering. Have any of the members replaced the Benmar with another brand and still kept the mechanical steering intact? I don't want to get involved with a hydraulics situation.
