T&T: "Unlimited towing" - TowBoatUS vs. SeaTow

When I was cruising those areas I carried both. It's peanuts really compared
to having to sit in an undesirable location for the one you belong to when
the other one may be just around the bend. Once I had to wait two hours for
BOAT/US to arrive from a distance. All that time I was looking at a yellow boat
across the river marked SEA TOW. Just as soon as I got off the ground, I
went online from the pilot house and joined SEA TOW effective at midnight. Since
then, of course, I have needed nieither.

Which offers better "unlimited towing" service, TowBoatUS or SeaTow?
Now that Bluewater is back in the USA, I'd like to sign up for one of the
"unlimited towing" services, either TowBoaUS or SeaTow. A quick online check
shows the prices are competitive ($118/year for TowBoatUS and $149/year less
15% from SeaTow. My own experience along the Eastern Seaboard shows that
TowBoatUS and SeaTow seem to cover the waterfront about equally.
For those of you who have been down this road before, are there significant
advantages/disadvantages of going with one or the other? Lesson one to me
was that "unlimited towing" for both has a specific definition that definitely
does not mean UNLIMITED TOWING. Both have some weasel words in their
service agreements about service in and out of one's home port or home area, a
concern since we expect to cruise in the Bahamas and cover the east coast from
south Florida to Down East Maine.
Thanks for any insights or input you can provide!
