T&T: maintenance logs

As I've said before, building a boat and maintaining one at the same time can
be a pain. I've deluded myself into thinking that just because I live on a
boat and I'm still building it, I don't have to pay a great deal of attention
to maintenance. As was evidenced by the fact I almost smoked my brand new
engines by not replacing the zincs. Whew! Caught that one in time.
Recently one of the delivery captains, Kevin R., Mike M., Pascal (doesn't need
an initial)? had a website with pictures of computer based logs. Does anyone
know of such computer logs? I haven't started any official log yet except for
the ship's log- just keep things in my head but my head's getting ready to
explode from overload.
Just consider pumps. Some have impellers that need changing, some have oil
that needs changing, some have belts. For the heck of it some time, count up
how many pumps you have on your boat; you'd be amazed. Don't forget the
injector pumps. You get to 20-25 real quick on a twin with a genset.
I need a log (device) that will record but also be predictive. Keep track of
what I've done but what do I do with the mains when the next 200 hours rolls
around? What has to be done the 1st of each month? Annually. Brrrrr. It's
enough to drive a man on the brink over the edge.
