"?I have Morse Twin S for a
single engine with dual station.
The lower station works fine.
The fly bridge would not go all the way into reverse.
I adjust the detent setscrew and tried to adjust the friction
brake setscrew."

I spent over ten years with Morse Controls as a Field Sales Manager. Unfortunately you do not?have an adjustment problem but rather a wear issue. Your control system is in series from the bridge to main? station to gears. The backlash of the upper cable is compounded by the arrangement. This backlash does not allow you to?get full stroke in compression which is why you are having problems shifting in the compression stroke. This is caused by the innerwire that transfers the motion is wearing into the inner liner. The only correction is to replace the cable. Make?sure you replace the cable with a newer high efficieny cable and you will have two finger control at the upper station. The older style cables use a solid SS wire which doesn't?like to bend easily and wears at the inner radius on any bend. The adjustmenst you mention cannot adjusted the stroke of the cable.
