So, the boat is technically "unsafe" due to needing re-wiring. Boat at dock goes on fire, Insurance Company pays out millions due to adjacent damage. I can see an Insurance Company insuring that boat. Also, I could see adjacent boat owners getting upset as their own Ins. Co. may have to step in and cover some costs. An unsafe electrical issue that the owner is aware of is grounds for a claim of negligence by the Ins. Co.
