depends where you are. After a little over 2 weeks down the east coast, I 
can tell you that about 2/3 of the marinas i went to either didn't have a 
pump out or it was broken or the hose was too short or the pump out dock was 
used for transient.

This morning, Harborage at Ashley River in Charleston...pump out dock full. 
I went for fuel at the City Marina AKA Megadock...  no pump out.. .call the 
pump out boat with advance notice...  Right now, In Beaufort SC, the pump 
out hose only reaches 18' beyond the edge of the dock.  I had to pull the 
bow in OVER the floating dock, kick the stern out, in order to connect the 
hose.  Just.

the list goes on....

it's not that easy being a responsible boater....
