T&T: Your Rudder post packing gland

As you can see there was more to repacking.  The packing gland and studs
were covered with corrosion which would have made it imposible to tighten
the packing bolts.  Oh yes BTW the shafts were beyond service so new ones
were made.

Bob the packing glands ( bronze ) are most likely the type you have which
you can see clearly here.
