T&T: Vacu Flush Circuit Breaker Pop

Michael:

I think there are two possibilities. One is toilet paper or Kleenex or 
something else stuck between the bellows in the pump. To clear it just take 
out the bolts that attach the motor to the bottom housing and the bellows 
will come out with the motor. If you see stuff in between the folds of the 
bellows then this is the problem. Just wash it off.

The second possibility is that there is a blockage after the the vacuum 
switch and the pump is try to build up more vacuum that is suppose to and 
this is causing the problem. If the blockage was before the vacuum switch 
then the switch would cut off the pump.

In my experience with these, I would pull the bellows first unless the pump 
is really hard to get to.
