Garrett is right about the cheapest and easiest, but be advised that not all 
vinyl lettering can be installed using the wet method.....be sure to find 
out what application membrane your new letters/graphics has.  If the 
membrane is clear and smooth, it can only be installed dry.

If you install it using the wet method...professionals recommend not using 
soap as it interferes with the adhesion of the product.  Most recommend to 
install it dry for maximum adhesion.  Check with your supplier for proper 
installation of their product.
My daughter owns a vinyl sign company and only uses the dry method to 
install the vinyl on signs, trucks, vans, trailers, etc.
