T&T: T&T Docking Lines

I researched this question many years ago and have found these 'rules of
thumb' to be good for my 30' sailboat and 41' trawler:

Dock line length approximately 2/3 boat length for bow/stern; full boat
length for forward/aft spring lines;
and, 1/2 boat length for breast lines. More for high tidal ranges.
