Wayne & Lynn,

I respectfully disagree.  What you did was stupid and you may feel stupid
for doing it but that doesn't make you stupid!  I'm certain that virtually
everyone on this list has done something related to boating that they put in
the same category.  I know I have.  

Learn from it (sounds like you already have) and take steps so that it won't
happen again.   :-}
