Arrived yesterday in Petersburg, Ak. Boat seems to have held up fine to the Alaskan winter. One of my projects for this year is to try and minimize electrical noise. To this end I received an updated copy of Calder's book (thanks Santa) and have been pouring over it in the warm Maui sunshine this past winter. I've been reading the part on pages 21 and 22 concerning large battery banks and planned on reconfiguring my housebank setup from fig. 1-19, a single neg. on one end of the bank with a single pos. on the other end, to a setup shown in fig.1-20 with separate cables for charging and loads at opposite ends. My question is, how do you wire the shunt for the system meter with two negative leads coming in?
Later, Tator
