Mike,
I have that Raymarine system on my 36 foot Albin Trawler (hydraulic
ram).  I also purchased the wireless remote.  The system works great. It
is integrated with my Northstar GPS.  The wireless remote is the best! 
It allows you to move about the boat which is a big advantage.
