T&T: electric lift pump?

I totally agree with Rich on the value of an auxillary electric fuel pump 
and his installation has worked well for him and others.  When installing 
mine, I felt it was important for the longevity of the electric pump to 
place it after the fuel filters.  I also found negligible resistance to fuel 
flow through the pump when it was not being used so I plumbed it in line 
between the first filter and the lift pump.  This has worked just fine for 
me for years.  The nature of the pump you choose or other circumstances may 
dictate the best configuration for your situation.
