Sounds like what you really want is a 24v muffin fan.  My Marlin P. Jones
catalog lists several, about $5-6 each for 5" square, or $13 for an 8"
diameter.  Look at www.mpja.com for their online catalog.  I've dealt with
them a couple of times, they're reliable, located in Lake Park, FL.
