T&T: Stabilization

we put bilge keels on our 40ft skookum, round bottom etc...i find it probly 
stops abt 40% of our roll....we go places we would`nt before! ours are abt 
23ft long...tapered to the hull towards the bow...they sometimes make a slap 
when a wave hits them broadside...takes some getting used to...also, the 
bote tracks better! ie, 3 keels!...we put them on in '98'...c
